Welcome

A special welcome to our newcomers today !
We welcome Tyla and Tobias into Room 4, Theo into Room 3 and Lara, Sam, Finlay, Cameron and Riley into Room 1

We know you will quickly find a special place in our school and look forward to seeing you grow and develop with us.

A very warm welcome also to your families - I am sure you will quickly become a valued part of our wonderful school community.
Please don't hesitate to ask about anything you are unsure of.

Naumai,
tena koutou, tena koutou , tena tatou katoa .

New beginnings

It is wonderful to welcome back so many bright faced learners to a new year!
Thank you for ensuring your child is well rested and ready for their learning.
Swimming will start immediately so do send along their swimming togs and towels tomorrow.

There is lots to talk about - so look out for our first newsletter tomorrow.

Please do not park in school grounds tomorrow morning .
We are getting the office block roof spray painted - and can not guarantee this won't drift onto your car.
Children can be dropped off at the bottom of the driveway , to walk up the path, or on Dicker Road.

You can resume using the driveway in the afternoon.

Thanks for your patience with this!

Carpark upgrade

Work is underway for our new carpark and driveway, and the moving of the old dental clinic.
This is necessary to improve the safety of our children coming and going from school- and has been a Board priority for what seems to have been a long time.
In the process we will sadly lose a couple of our treasured trees- but have an extensive planting plan to replace these and add even more.
The vision is to also develop a grove of fruit and nut trees, as well as develop our school gardens.
If you have ideas to add - or can help- please see Fred.
Planting will begin in winter..

The carpark base surface will be laid today, but not finished until the old dental clinic is moved to its new site by Room 1.
Please continue to use the one way system of driving and parking that we trialled last term.
Hopefully this upgrade will cause minimum disruption.
